Ruben Bemelmans has Monday qualified for the quarter finals in the doubles of the Challengertoernooi in the Italian Francavilla (gravel/43.000 euro). The Observer knocked on the side of the Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor in the first round of the Italian Alessandro Motti and the Spaniard David Vega Hernandez in two sets: 6-2, 2-6 and 13/11 in the supertiebreak. The match lasted one hour and nineteen minutes.
