The 24-year-old full signs a contract for three years with his new club.
Massop received his training at Vitesse and De Graafschap, and is working on his second season at Excelsior. Waasland-Beveren calls him ‘a solid kopsterke defender with attacking impulses’.
That last endorse his figures this season. Massop scored in 25 matches played already five times and experience this is by far his most productive year. In his five previous seasons as a pro came Massop in total but two competitiegoals.
