The original recording of the song ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ by the late American pop star Prince, is the yet to be released. That report, several foreign media today.
The administrators of Princes musical legacy decided together with muziekmaatschappij Warner Bros to the more than thirty-year-old recording to release. It comes to the very first recording of the song, which dates from 1984.
The song appeared a year later – in a different version on an album of the band The Family, one of the side projects of Prince. Ultimately, the Irish singer Sinéad O’connor in 1990, a hit single to score with her version of the song. He then made Prince of the song regularly during his concerts.
The original studio version is first released, reports the musician magazine Pitchfork. Variety writes that the song can also be streamed or digital can be purchased.
The release of the recording is done, perhaps not coincidentally, along with the second anniversary of the death of Prince. ‘His Royal Badness’ died on the 21st of april 2016.
