The conservative ex-mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani has joined the legal team of president Donald Trump. To say that he does it to quickly put an end to the FBI investigation. Special prosecutor Robert Mueller examines Russian interference during the U.s. presidential election in 2016.
‘Rudy is great, ” Trump cited in a communication from a law firm in Florida. “He has been a long time my friend and wants this case solved quickly in the best interest of the country.’
In an interview with The Washington Post says Giuliani that he does this ” because I hope that we end can negotiate’ to the study of Russian interference. He is acting to his own words also, ‘in the interest of the country and because I have great respect for the president and for Bob Mueller’.
Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Giuliani was mayor of New York from 1994 to 2001. In the presidential election in 2008, he was a candidate for the Republican nomination, but he stepped out of the race to his challenger John McCain support, which ultimately lost against Democrat Barack Obama. In the run-up to the elections in 2016 he spoke of his support for Trump. After his election, circulated his name for various posts in the government, including that of the minister of Foreign Affairs, but ultimately he was not chosen.
