MONTGOMERY – The state of Alabama, the 83-year-old Walter Moody executed. Moody is so far as known the oldest person to death is established since 1976, the year in which the supreme court of the nationwide suspension of the death penalty undid.
Moody sent in 1989 to mail a bomb to a judge, who is thereby killed. Later he also sent a fatal bompakket to a burgerrechtenadvocaat. He got the first from a federal district court to life imprisonment. A court in the state of Alabama gave him the death penalty.
