Abuja – The Nigerian police has the ceremonial scepter found Wednesday by three intruders out of the senate was stolen. The thieves had the scepter left under a viaduct in the chapter, Abuja.
The theft of the sceptre was regarded as high treason.
A passer-by had seen the thieves of the scepter there, left behind and told the police. Without the scepter, the upper house of parliament formally acts to approve, but the senate solved this problem by setting a reserve-scepter of the shed.
The spokesman of the senate said Wednesday that a suspended politician, Ovie Omo-Agege, is responsible for the theft of the sceptre.
