JOHANNESBURG – South African prosecutors, the son of ex-president Jacob Zuma still prosecuted for a deadly traffic accident. Duduzane Zuma, collided in 2014 with his Porsche 911 on a minibus. Therefore, a woman came to life and got two people seriously injured.
The authorities had initially decided to Duduzane not to prosecute because of the crash, but reversed that decision later. That happened after a burgerrechtenorganisatie in October last year, had indicated the man use to want to prosecute.
Prosecutors had the son of the former president until the end of march given to explain why they should refrain from prosecution. Duduzane was not, however, come up with friendly information, said a spokesman of the NPA, the national Public Prosecutor’s office. Therefore, prosecutors are now about to prosecution.
Duduzane is not the only one in his family, the stick has with the criminal justice system. Ex-president Jacob Zuma is prosecuted on suspicion of corruption.
