KV Kortrijk has Jarno De Smet attracted. That has the West-Flemish club announced on Thursday. The 19-year-old goalkeeper, who happens to of champion Lommel from the first amateurklasse, sign in Kortrijk a contract for two seasons with an option for two additional years.
De Smet received his training at Club Brugge, but withdrew later to Lommel. The keeper is also a Belgian international at the U19.
Kortrijk ended the regular phase of the Jupiler Pro League on the seventh place. In group A of Play off 2 the team of coach Glen De Boeck after four days on the second place with a point less than Zulte Waregem. Friday draws Kortrijk on match day five to Essevee.
