BAGHDAD – Iraq on Thursday air strikes carried out on positions of Islamic State (IS) in Syria. Prime minister Haider al-Abadi said that to take action is made because IS-gangs represent a danger to Iraq.
Iraq, Syrian president Bashar al-Assad informed before the air raids all over the world. Iraq is supported by western countries and has now also a good relationship with Iran and Russia, two allies of Assad.
