STRASBOURG – The public apologies of Facebookbaas Mark Zuckerberg about the misuse of private information of millions of users of the social network are not enough. The American need to quickly get to the European Parliament to the European citizens, to explain how that could happen, and to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.
All parties in the EU parliament were there, stirring about once during a debate on the privacyschandaal. The company Cambridge Analytica got 87 million profiles, including that of Zuckerberg himself in the hands, and used data without the knowledge of the account holders for other things, such as the election campaign of president Donald Trump.
According to Jeroen Lenaers (CDA) is the sorry of Zuckerberg in the media, too little, too late.’ EU commissioner Vera Jourova (justice) promised there ,,anything will do” to such practices impossible.
