WASHINGTON – The U.s. government has not yet bite the bullet on new punitive measures against Russia. “We are considering still to Russia additional sanctions. There is in the near future, a decision has been taken”, stated the White House in a statement.
The White House did not exist in detail about why the U.S. new sanctions might be considered. The American UN ambassador Nikki Haley said Sunday that her country’s new sanctions on the prepare is because of the Russian support to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad. Moscow is a key ally of the Syrian government.
