Rob Alflen will go next summer to work as head coach at Helmond Sport. The Utrechter has Monday night a two year contract signed with the province of eerstedivisionist.
The 49-year-old Alflen is the successor of Roy Hendriksen, who after two seasons departs at Helmond Sport.
Earlier it was Alflen five years at FC Utrecht, including a season as head coach. From January 2016, he serves as an assistant coach at Heracles Almelo.
“For me, it was clear that I was again on his own legs wanted to stand as head coach, the former player of Ajax and FC Utrecht at the website of Helmond Sport know.
“The conversations with Helmond Sport, I have a very good feeling helping out,” continues Alflen. “This made the choice very easy for me and I’m fully for this great opportunity.”
Beginning this month, joined Leon Vlemmings as director in service at Helmond Sport. With the appointment of Alflen let he immediately apply. “If volksjongen connect Rob with volksclub Helmond Sport and he has a piece of healthy brutality that we are also in the field.”
