Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson have less to worry about. The funkband Collage has a plagiaatzaak against the two dropped. Or a settlement is reached is not known, reports TMZ.
Collage found that the hit Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson copied was of their number, Young Girls, 1983. The only living member of the band demanded that the single trade was taken and claimed in addition, a portion of the proceeds from the hit single.
For Mars and Ronson, however, it is not over yet in terms of lawsuits. In the past years, they had a number of times of plagiarism accused. They are also accused by the groups of The Sequence, and Zapp & Roger.
