Duterte threatens to prosecutor’s office criminal Court to address
MANILA – The Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte, the prosecutor of the International criminal Court with an arrest threatened if she goes to work in his country. The Philippines, according to the president are no longer members of the Court, which therefore no longer has to be in the country to do research.
ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda announced in February to launch an investigation after the complaint of a Filipino lawyer. That had Duterte and, policy makers are accused of crimes against humanity and policy to criminals to kill.
,,What authority do you have now? Why are you in this country, if we are not members of the treaty?”, he said to the media in statements addressed to Bensouda. ,,You can’t study here without permission. I’ll let you arrest him.”
