The board of the Royal Belgian Football association (belgian football association) does on Tuesday, april 24 a statement about the behavior of the fans of Cercle Brugge and Beerschot Wilrijk in the second leg of the 1B final in the city of Bruges, Jan breydel stadium.
Both clubs came last Tuesday to answer to the arbitration committee of the belgian football association, after they on the basis of the report of referee Alexandre Boucaut were persecuted by the Bondsparket. The official explanation for the notice reads: “poor organisation” (Cercle) and “misconduct of supporters” (Beerschot Wilrijk).
The final match of the Proximus League and on march 10 started in a smokescreen. Here and there were some supporters of smoke chipped in the Jan breydel stadium. A supporter of Beerschot Wilrijk fell on top of the stand and had to be removed to the hospital. The man would be challenged by the Cercle-fans, and tried the stands to climb. In addition, he was a nasty crash.
After the match brought supporters of Beerschot Wilrijk damage to various cars of the press. On that plane was a Cercle then again slothful: there was a port to stay open that closed should have been. Supporters also went with each other on the fist.
