Oranjevrouwen in Abe Lenstra Stadium against Slovakia in world cup qualification

The Oranjevrouwen work the WK-kwalificatieduel with Slovakia on 12 June in the Abe Lenstra Stadium in Heerenveen, the netherlands.

It is the first time that the football play in the stadium in Friesland, that seats up to 24.000 spectators. The match starts at 20.00 hours.

Last week Friday played Orange in the Philips Stadium before a record number of spectators against Northern Ireland in world cup qualification. In Eindhoven saw 30.238 spectators that the Netherlands with less than 7-0 won.

The team of coach Sarina Wiegman continued Tuesday, then a big step towards the world cup in and against Ireland with a 0-2 win. Orange is, therefore, with thirteen points from five matches to lead group 3.

The netherlands resumed the world cup kwalificatiereeks on June 8 with an away game against Northern Ireland, and the still puntloze Slovakia four days later so to Heerenveen. Orange won rather easily with 0-5 of the Slovak team.

The seven group winners qualify directly for the world cup next year in France. The four best songs two will compete in the play-offs to the last ticket.
