Jean Jacques ‘Jampie’ Kuneman died last Monday at age 94. The born Hagenaar played in 1951 two international matches for the Dutch national team, against Belgium (5-4 victory) and Finland: 4-4.
Kuneman, also a gifted cricket player, made during his career furore for HBS. For the club from The Hague he played more than 252 races, in which he 47 times scored. At HBS was Kuneman since 1962 and a member of merit.
