In an accident with a city sightseeing bus in Malta are Monday two men to life, among them a Belgian. That the Maltese minister of Health, Chris Fearne, said, writes the Times of Malta. It was going to be a man of 62 years.
The accident happened in the coastal town of Zurrieq. The bus – a double decker bus with open roof – drove at relatively high speed against a number of low-hanging branches. Two tourists, the Belgian man and a Spanish woman of 37, died on the spot. Six others are in critical condition to the hospital disposed of.
The limbs could be damaged by heavy winds Sunday night, but it is not clear whether this is also the basis of the accident.
