MUNSTER – The two victims of the attack with a camper van in the German Münster perished have been identified. The 51-year-old woman from the region of Lueneburg in lower Saxony and a man of 65 from the region of Borken, in North rhine-Westphalia.
The police and the public ministry also confirmed that the driver of the bus itself has been shot. “According to the current state of the research is the director, probably a 48-year-old man from Münster”, reported the public prosecutor. What his motive was remains unclear.
During the search of the vehicle found agents the firearm that the perpetrator himself of life has robbed a neppistool and fireworks. The van was gently contacted because of suspicious looking wires in the car were seen. Explosives are not found.
Also the home of the suspect is searched. As a precaution, blew up the police first, the front door before agents entered. In the house, they found a sierwapen and more fireworks. The police did no further communication about the rumors that you may have two henchmen from the vehicle were jumped and fled.
In the attack were more than twenty people seriously wounded. Also a Dutch woman is brought to the hospital.
