‘Todos lo saben’ with Penélope Cruz opens Cannes 2018

Edition 2018 of the international Cannes film festival opens on 8 may with the screening of Todos lo saben (Everybody knows), the new film from the Iranian director Asghar Farhadi. That the organizers of the festival, that at its 71st edition, announced on Thursday.

The Spanish-language film, a psychological thriller, boasts actors such as Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Ricardo Darín, and is part of the official selection. It is of 2004, with La mala educacion by Pedro Almodovar, ago that in an opening film in Cannes a different language is spoken than English or French.

Cannes 2018 will take place from 8 to 19 may. Next Thursday, april 12, is the official selection announced.
