Ilse DeLange has her sights set on a breakthrough in America. “I’m going to do everything, I want to build on the momentum as big as possible.”
The forty-Almelo was last month for the first time to see in the American series Nashville, in which she was a member of the jury of a talent show playing. “I’m busy Jan and alleman to discuss how I got my exposure and the spin-off of the series (Nashville stops after six seasons, ed.) as large as possible, bigger than that one episode in which I sing.”
With a role in a new musical American series, and perhaps the release of an album, hopes to Ilse on a breakthrough. “My happiness depends not, but it remains a dream”, tells the singer in the Dutch Volkskrant Magazine.
