This easter weekend brings the mannenzender CAZ the sitcom Black Adder with Rowan Atkinson a.k.a. Mr. Bean as Prince Edmund back on the screen.
The first season of the sitcom Black Adder was devised by Rowan Atkinson and writer Richard Curtis, known for Four Weddings and a Funeral and Notting Hill. The series provides a satirical look at British history and takes a look at the life of The Black Adder. Prince Edmund kills by a misunderstanding on The Battle of Bosworth to his uncle, king Richard III. His father, Richard IV is doing to the power, which Edmund now second in line for the kingship. Together with his two loyal servants Baldrick (Tony Robinson) and Percy (Tim McInnerny) he called himself from now on, The Black Adder, with but one goal: to be the throne to conquer.
