The British actor Bill Maynard, best known for his role as a poacher Claude Jeremiah Greengrass in the British drama series Heartbeat, is 89 years of age died.
His daughter-in-law made it known that he died in a hospital in Leicestershire, where he lay because of a broken hip after a fall with his mobility scooter.
