The German Alexander Zverev (ATP 5) has on Tuesday placed for the quarter-finals of the ATP Masters 1.000 tournament in American Miami. For the women, Victoria Azarenka (WTA 186) are placed for the semi-finals.
In the eighth-finals took the number five of the world in two sets (6-4), the Australian Nick Kyrgios (ATP 20). For the last eight takes Zverev against the one-year-old Croatian Borna Coric (ATP 36).
Azarenka is in the final four
The belarusian Victoria Azarenka, triple toernooiwinnares in Miami (2009, 2011, and 2016) but it has now subsided to the 186e place in the world ranking, won in the quarter finals in two sets (7-5 and 6-3), the Czech republic’s Karolina Pliskova, also a former number one in the world and this year the sixth seed in Florida.
