According to a new survey, the popularity of the American president over the past month a good push. The ‘approval rating’ is seven percentage points. 42 percent of Americans is now behind Donald Trump.

The poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research makes it clear that Trump a remonte busy. He climbs out of the historically low valley – he scored in the previous poll, only 35 percent – and now retrieves 42 percent. According to AP news agency, however, that is still very low for a president, during this phase of the presidency.

Almost half of Americans stands behind the economic vision of the president (47 percent). That is the highest score achieved. 46 percent support the policy around taxes. Trump, however, has less ‘believers’ when it comes to the relationship with North Korea (42 percent), trade (41 percent), gun violence (39 percent) and the trade deficit (35 percent).

According to the poll, conducted by NORC, affiliated with the university of Chicago, is 38 percent of the surveyed Americans in favour of the by Trump proposed import duties on steel and aluminum. 32 percent is undecided and 29 per cent against.
