Marlous Pieëte stops playing football. That made the 51-times international Wednesday known.

Pieëte has played ten seasons in the premier league. With FC Twente she won in 2011, 2013 and 2014, the national championship and in 2008 the KNVB-cup. Then came the now 28-year-old aanvalster three years for Ajax. Last season, she won with the Amsterdam club to the championship title and the cup.
In 2009 he made his debut Pieëte for Orange. In four years time she came to 51 international matches, in which eight times scored. From september last year until February, stayed for the soccer star in Australia, where she, on behalf of Western Sydney Wanderers came out in the W-league. That was her last adventure.
“It’s been lovely. I have the start of the premier league experienced, and that whole growth and development from the inside out politely. Now I will go enjoy other fun things that are on my path,” said Pieëte.
