The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences does not do any further investigation of possible sexual harassment by its president, John Bailey. That has the organization behind the Oscars in a statement.
“The commission has unanimously decided that no further action is required in this case,” said the statement, which The Hollywood Reporter message. “The council approved the findings and recommendations of the commission. John Bailey, president of the Academy.”
Although previously there were three complaints against Bailey, speaks to the Academy of only one claim, which was received on 13 march. About the contents of the complaint do the Academy, out of respect for the privacy of the complainant and the chairman, no statement. It is not known where the president was accused.
