Festival Dranouter yesterday, fifteen new names announced, all Belgian bands. ‘t Hof van Commerce, only twenty years old, but one of those fifteen new names.
Festival Dranouter makes every year for a mix between international and national artists and this year will be no different. The three-day music festival in the Westhoek solved, not much Belgian names, but now in one fell swoop change. One of them is that of ‘t Hof van Commerce, for their twentieth anniversary to celebrate the headers back together once again cease. It’s not just the recent verjaardagsconcerten, for Flip Kowlier, Buyse and 4T4 also do Dranouter.
Other highlights are Angèle, that the label “sister of Roméo Elvis,” the youngest months of afwierp, Milow, Absynthe Minded, Douglas Firs and Brihang, for whom the podiumterrein The Voute last year many appeared too small. Still on the bill are Portland, An-Sofie Noppe, Gwen Cresens, Poltrock, William in Jazz, Jan De Smet & 2 Centimetres, Marc Hauman and Group, Brisk and Bazaar Bizarre.
Festival Dranouter takes place this year from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 August. Previously confirmed include Gogol Bordello, Passenger and Goran Bregovic all of their arrival.
