The American actress DuShon Monique Brown last Friday died of a heart attack, reports showbizzwebsite TMZ. She was just 49 years old.
Brown reported a few days before her death in the hospital with severe pain in the chest. Test results indicated, however, that there was nothing going on. They then returned home, where her condition worsened. Brown died in the St. James Health hospital in Olympia Fields, near Chicago.
The actress is in the collective memory of European and American television viewers thanks to her role as nurse Katie Welch in the first two seasons of “Prison Break”. Then she got another guest star in “Boss”, “Empire” and a regular role in “Chicago Fire”.
