Arsène Wenger feels the victim of age discrimination.
Arsene Wenger has been around since 1996 trainer of Arsenal.
The 68-year-old Frenchman is already since 1996 as a manager on the bench at Arsenal. The call for his departure is still bigger; not only because of the disappointing results of Arsenal, but also because of his age.
“I accept it when people say that the results are not good enough. But I find that eternal reference to how long you are at a club and how old you are, however, difficult to accept,” said Wenger against interest sports channel beIN Sport.
“I am naive enough to believe that my earnings for this club are evident and not so much the result of the last match. I’m a bit done with that modern hassle which is all about image. My whole life, I’ve been working under the idea that it’s more important who you are than how you look.”
