The sequel of Pacific Rim from 2013 got 28 million dollars (nearly 23 million) in the US, whereas Black Panther had to do with 16.7 million dollars (13.5 million euro).
With a North American revenue of 630,9 million dollars (510 million euros), Black Panther is now the highest earning superheldenfilm of all time in the United States and Canada. In the Netherlands, which reached the film from director Ryan Coogler last week that milestone: Disney made Thursday announced that the film, with a harvest of 6,89 million euro was the best performing superheldenfilm ever in the Netherlands.
