Clarence Seedorf is looking with mixed feelings back on his first months as coach of laagvlieger Deportivo La Coruña. The Dutch coach is positive about the development of his team, but realizes that there is still a long way to go.

“We have intense days behind us in which we have worked and things have done differently. I must admit that I had not expected that it would be difficult to have a competition to win”, says Seedorf Sunday in an interview with the Spanish Marca.

The former Orange international (87 national football team) took the beginning of February, the baton of the fired Cristobal Parralo, but knew since then, is still no match to win with Deportivo.

The current number nineteen of the Spanish Primera Division lost four times and played so far three times right under the guidance of Seedorf. Deportivo scored in addition, only two times in those seven duels.
