MOGADISHU – A suicide bomb attack in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, claimed the lives of three people. The car bomb exploded near the parliament and the ministry of Home Affairs.
The explosive went off, according to a police ofcers at a heavily guarded checkpoint. A photographer saw several destroyed vehicles. The head of the ambulance service in the city said that three of the victims to life. Also got someone injured.
Terrorist organisation al-Shabaab has the responsibility for the attack claimed. “We are behind the attack on the checkpoint that the access guards to the presidential palace, the parliament and the ministry of Internal Affairs of the apostate government,” said a spokesman, who claimed that thirteen soldiers lost their lives.
Second attack in a short time
It is the second time in a few days time when the city is rocked by an attack. So fell Thursday, another fourteen deaths by an explosion at a hotel. Also that attack is claimed by al-Shabaab.
