Ferrari on top during the last training session for the GP of Australia. At the end of a wet session, reed Sebastian Vettel on droogweerbanden the fastest time. Stoffel Vandoorne was ninth and faster than team-mate Alonso.

As predicted, we got rain during the second day of the race weekend in Australia. The riders went at the beginning of the last training session on rain tires on the track.

Very hard it rained at the start of the session but the track was still damp during the first exploratory laps before the extreme-rain tyre to choose. There was, however, soon switched to the intermediate wet tyres and the riders also sought to quickly what more the limits.

There’s sliders were made, even by good regenrijders such as Max Verstappen, will be clear.

Just before the end of the session drove the belgian Stoffel Vandoorne for the third time. On a declining trajectory, which with the minute faster, it was, and dived, however, still a few riders in the slotminuten under the time for Vandoorne.

So went among others both Ferrari’s in the last minutes even with droogweerbanden the job. It resulted in a first and second place for Sebastian Vettel and Kimi were times. Marcus Ericsson showed in the Sauber, even the third time.

Of course, the outcome of the third training session by riding on both droogweerbanden as well as wet tyres are not representative for the qualifying or the race. It is also exciting to see who is there during the qualification, the fastest will be. The qualification for the GP of Australia begin at 7 am Belgian time.
