Reading is the successor Tribe within

Reading is a successor to the earlier this week fired coach Jaap Stam.

Paul Clement is officially presented as new coach. The 46-year-old coach was previously active as an assistant at Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, with which he has many national and international prizes won. Earlier this season, Clement fired as hotel manager at Swansea City, which is currently on the fourteenth place in the Premier League.

Reading-director Ron Gourlay is delighted with the new trainer. “I am very happy that we have a vastly experienced forward thinking manager like Paul have attracted,” said Gourlay on the clubwebsite of Reading FC. “Everyone at the club is fully behind Paul, just as the players. We focus initially on the first eight matches and we continue to strive to keep this club up.”

Clement gets, with former Ajax player and namesake, Pelle Clement and former SC Heerenveen player Joey van den Berg.
