The French football federation FFF has Friday the punishment of Tony Chapron doubled. The French arbitrator lost his appeal and will now get a suspension of six months for kicking a player from Nantes.
Chapron was the beginning of February for six months, suspended, three months probation. The referee went into occupation, and saw, therefore, his suspension increased to eight months, including two months on probation.
The 45-year-old Chapron was in an appeal because he hoped this season to be allowed to whistle. He had before the incident in Nantes, already announced that, after this year want to quit as a referee.
Chapron hit mid-January discredited by an incident during the match between FC Nantes and Paris-Saint Germain (0-1). The arbitrator was in the injury time of the duel by accident in his back, walked and tapped by Diego Carlos.
Chapron stumbled and gave the Brazilian defender of Nantes, then, before he straightened up scrambled, a kick against the lower leg.(View images)
Chapron, who, after the match, his excuses, he rebuked the verbouwereerde Diego Carlos with a yellow card. It was the second yellow for Diego Carlos and so, had the player of Nantes with the red of the field.
