YouTube is putting the final touches on a film that will soon be available in the cinemas to see. “Vulture Club”, a film from Iranian-American director Maryam Keshavarz, is currently in the postproductiefase, reports Indiewire. The company emphasizes that there is still no cinema chain willing to put in the movie to show.
The story of “Vulture Club”, with Susan Sarandon, Edie Falco and Matt Bomer in the lead roles, focuses on the kidnapping of a journalist by terrorists in Libya. Sarandon played the role of his mother, a spoedverpleegkundige, which are drastic steps to take her son (played by Bomer) to get free. Edie Falco (“The Sopranos”), Julian Morris (“Pretty Little Liars”) and Lola Kirke (“Mistress America”) complete the cast.
It is not the first time that the subsidiary of Google is a film released in the movie theaters. In January 2016, brought YouTube the sciencefictionkomedie “Lazer Team”. With only 480 impressions in the United States, the film was not a big sales success.
