Guus Lift has until mid-2022 current contract with AZ Thursday extended by one year. The talented midfielder is now until the summer of 2023 fixed in the AFAS Stadium.
The contract extension for the 20-year-old Lift is a result of his good performance this season. He scored ten times in 32 official matches and sits for the first time in Orange.
“Guus has, for the past two years, major steps made. He is the breakthrough player of the youth academy and has risen to the fixed value of the first team of AZ”, explains director of football cases Max Huiberts on the site of AZ.
