Antonio Banderas takes on this new roll of film very seriously, as we saw during the photo shoot of his new National Geographic series Genius: Picasso. The Spanish actor appeared almost unrecognizable in the shoot, with a shaven head and no eyebrows, but as much as possible on his alter-ego to appear.

The 57-year-old actor plays the lead role in the second season of Genius, in which Pablo Picasso is central. The first series focused on the life of Albert Einstein and has garnered worldwide admiration and praise.

Banderas posted a picture on Instagram, in which he shows that his new project to the world is presented. “Greetings from The Westin Palace in Madrid! Press day for Genius: Picasso.”
