FIFA, the organizers Wednesday asked in a hurry. “There is a lot of progress, but there is still so much work to do. We had expected that they already would be,” said FIFA director Colin Smith told reporters.
Costa Rica and Serbia will take on June 17 against each other in Samara. This is followed by three group games, a duel in the eighth-finals and a match in the quarter-finals. The stadium has a capacity of 45,000 people.
All the stadiums during the world cup be used.
Smith: “It is important that the stadium is completed, so that we have all the equipment that we need can install and use the stadium to further set-up.”
