BRATISLAVA – The Slovak president Andrej Kiska has the regeringsplan of prime minister Peter Pellegrini accepted and the list of ministers approved. He will be the new cabinet Thursday to install. Thus, early elections occur.
The social democratic party of Sea chose Pellegrini as the successor of Robert Fico. This got last week and after all the commotion by the murder of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak, who wrote about links between Slovak politicians and dubious businessmen. The population went massively to the streets to protest.
Kiska had an earlier proposal by Pellegrini rejected, especially because he is a different person on Home Affairs wanted to. The new man or woman in this department must ensure that an independent investigation into the death of Kuciak and his girlfriend.
