ABUJA – Some of the 110 girls from a school in the Nigerian Dapchi were kidnapped, are back in their hometown. Witnesses report that the girls Wednesday, likely by militants from terror group Boko Haram have been reduced.

Hassana Mohammed (13) could meet with Boko Haram escape.

The girls disappeared late last month during an attack by Boko Haram on Dapchi in the northeast state of Yobe. It is not clear how many girls now are back.

The disappearance of the students is one of the largest of such incidents since the jihadist group has more than 270 schoolgirls from the town of Chibok kidnapped in 2014.
