PRISTINA – The parliament of Kosovo has on Wednesday a grensakkoord with neighbouring Montenegro ratified and thus fulfilled the conditions for visa-free travel in the European Union. Of the 120 members of parliament voted eighty in the agreement.
Delegates of the nationalist party VV tried the mood is still to prevent the tear gas spread in the room. Five of them were arrested. VV-delegates used this way often to their dismay to utter. They are also very opposed to the agreements with Serbia.
Kosovo, which in 2008 formally independent from Serbia, declared, is the only country in the western Balkans that are not yet on the visa-free list of the EU.
