The Disney classic “Lady and the Tramp’ gets a live-action version, following in the footsteps of ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘The Jungle Book’ and ‘beauty and the Beast’. The film will not be in the cinema release but is given a place on disney’s new streaming service, in the autumn of 2019 is launched. Entertainmentmagazine The Hollywood Reporter reports that the American Charlie Bean, director of all kinds of animated films and series, the director was in their hands.
The original story dates back to 1955, a sequel that not in the cinema appeared – “Lady and the Tramp II: Rakkers Adventure’ – came only in 2001. Disney has even more live-action remakes in the pipeline: ‘Aladdin’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Mulan’ are each a film. There are rumours that ‘Merlin the Magician’, like ‘Lady and the Vagabond’, immediately on the streamingplatform of Disney will appear.
