Strike at Lierse: acquisition not hit around, players refuse to train

The players of Lierse were despite promising messages for the weekend again to hear that there is still no breakthrough in terms of an acquisition. A part of the players decided therefore this morning to strike-and today, not to train.

Last Thursday had the players been told that there is an agreement with an investor, an agreement that at the weekend signed would be. However, that is not happened, making the situation there at the moment getting awkward looks. A part of the players went to then ostentatiously go home, some remained at the club in the fitness.

The beginning of the end…? Last week there were still two parties in the running. One of them was a group with a Latvian investor, but that brought no formal bid. The other bid seemed to bring the group around David Nakhid. All people thought that closely at the file involved, that Lierse with the announcement that the takeover almost around was especially blufpoker played to (still) more interested people to lure…
