Nine referees have will be a candidate for next season under the semi-professional status to get started in the Royal Belgian Football association (belgian football association). That Monday was confirmed by scheidsrechtersbaas Johan Verbist.
Since 1 July 2017, the Belgian professional football eight semi-professional referees empire. Sébastien Delferière, Bart Vertenten, Alexandre Boucaut, Jonathan Lardot, Erik Lambert, Lawrence Visser, Nathan Verboomen and Bram Van Driessche signed with the belgian football association have a contract for at least two seasons.
Next season there are two new semiprofs. At the request of Johan Verbist pulled the Pro League a budget of 75,000 euros. The scheidsrechtersbaas now has the difficult task to seven refs to disappoint. Verbist has set itself no deadline imposed to make the decision.
Last year, in a total of fifteen referees as a candidate for the semiprofstatuut, seven among them got a negative response. From 1 July 2019 would Verbist like twelve semiprofs in service.
