The Dutchman Jeffrey Herlings (KTM) was Sunday in the Grand prix of Europe for his home crowd in Valkenswaard, the best in the openingsmanche of the MXGP. Herlings, who two weeks ago the first GP of the season in Argentina won, won for the Italian Antonio Cairoli (KTM), second at 17 seconds, and Jeremy Van Horebeek (Yamaha), third at 29 seconds.
Clement Desalle (Kawasaki), in Argentina, third after Herlings and Cairoli, finished eighth. Kevin Strijbos (KTM) was the age of fourteen, Julien Lieber (Kawasaki) seventeenth and Nathan Renkens (Honda) 33rd. Ken de Dycker (KTM) gave up on.
