Jeffrey Herlings (KTM) Sunday in the Dutch Valkenswaard for the Grand prix of Europe in the MXGP, the second GP of the season, won. The Dutchman was both in the first and in the second round the fastest.

Herlings, who two weeks ago the first GP of the season in Argentina won, had to do with fifty points, the Italian Antonio Cairoli (KTM), 44 points behind. The Frenchman Gautier Paulin (Husqvarna) completed with 34 points on the stage.

Clément Desalle (Kawasaki) was the best Belgian on place seven with 27 points. Jérémy Van Hoorebeek (Yamaha) came, after a third place in the first race, crashed in the second and had to give up. Eventually, he finished tenth. Kevin Strijbos (KTM) was eleventh, Julien Lieber (Kawasaki) nineteenth, Ken De Dycker (KTM) 25th, and Nathan Renkens (Honda) 33rd.

In the wereldbekerstand state Herlings on top with 97 points, Cairoli follows with 91. Clément Desalle is third with 67 points, Jérémy Van Horebeek seventh with 54 points, Julien Lieber thirteenth (26 pts) and Kevin Strijbos fourteenth (22 pts).

In the MX2 race, the victory was to the Note Pauls Jonass (KTM), who in Valkenswaard both races to his name, wrote, and earlier in Argentina and all the best. Jonass collected fifty points, and kept the Spaniard Jorge Prado (KTM/44 pts) and the Dane Kjer Thomas Olsen (Husqvarna/40 pts) behind him. Jago Geerts (Yamaha) finished seventh, Brent Van Doninck (Husqvarna) as the eighteenth.

In the wereldbekerstand is Jonass-to-head with one hundred points, for Olsen (82 pts). Jago Geerts will follow at the seventh with 46 points and Brent Van Doninck as 22nd with 11 points.

The next GP is on the 25th of march in Valencia, on the agenda.
