Linda Cardellini, Matt Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan, and Kathrine Narducci get rolling in Fonzo, a film about the life of the notorious gangster Al Capone. They will, according to the Hollywood Reporter to be seen alongside Tom Hardy (The Revenant), who played the role of Capone.
Linda Cardinelli (IT) plays in Fonzo Capone’s wife Mae, his best friend Johnny, played by Matt Dillon (Rumble Fish, To die For). MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) creeps into the skin of Capone’s doctor Karlock and Narducci (A Bronx Tale) will Rosie play, one of the sisters of the gangster.
Director Josh Trank begins in april in New Orleans with shooting for the biopic. Fonzo tells the story of the ruthless Capone, who in the twenties and thirties of the last century reigned in the underworld of Chicago. The film focuses on the period after Capone’s imprisonment, which by dementia are violent past and the present in his brain with each other melt.
