LONDON – The British government bows Monday on possible new measures against Russia. A government spokesman said Saturday, after Moscow had announced 23 British diplomats to send away from the country. “This Russian measure was already factored in,” said the spokesman
The Russian decision is a response to the staking of 23 Russian diplomats from Britain earlier this week because of the attack with nerve gas on former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. They were Sunday, march 4, found unconscious on a bench in the English city of Salisbury.
The British accuse Russia behind the attack. Moscow denies.
